A Lebanese – Canadian and proud resident of Kitchener South-Hespeler for over 24 years, Marwan Tabbara is an energetic community advocate who will work tirelessly in Ottawa for the people of the riding.
Marwan was inspired to enter the political arena by his mother, who raised him and his two brothers on her own. He credits his family for shaping him into a compassionate individual who cares deeply about the world around him. He is committed to real change and a prosperous future for the families of Kitchener South-Hespeler. Marwan currently works in Operations at Frito Lay, and is passionate about welcoming new Canadians, improving skills training and educational opportunities, and finding economic solutions that keep jobs local.
Marwan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Guelph. He enjoys canoeing, weight training, horseback riding, hiking and the great outdoors.
